We know the first thing you’re thinking – how do you pronounce our name, and what does it mean?

It’s actually really easy to say – dan-TEE-EN – and the words ‘Dan Tien’ literally mean ‘energy centre’.

Which is what we’ve worked so hard to create: a safe, fun, social space where children & young people can express themselves creatively through music & dance, hone their performance skills, keep fit, improve their mental wellbeing, meet new people – and above all, enjoy themselves!

During the school holidays, our range of holiday clubs and workshops are always very popular; and our stress-free birthday parties go down a storm with parents and children alike!

We also work with a number of schools across Watford so that even more children & young people have the chance to enjoy the many benefits that regular access to the performing arts brings.

And we can also provide tutoring for the Music Aptitude test taken at your child’s transfer to secondary school.
